Add a device

On the new device, choose Use another device. It shows a QR code and a 6-digit code. On a device that's already signed in, choose Add device (in the popup or Settings), then scan the QR code or type the code, and approve. Or simply choose Continue with Google on the new device.

Hotkeys

• Alt + Shift + Space opens the popup on Windows and Mac (Option on a Mac). Type or paste, Enter sends, Esc closes.
• Alt + Shift + V sends what's on your clipboard without opening anything.
• Change either in Settings. If another app already uses a key, Mnem0 tells you so you can pick another.

The notch

On Windows and Mac, turn it on in Settings → Notch. A small island sits at the top centre of your screen: it shows what arrives, opens when you push the mouse into the top edge (or press the notch hotkey), and sends any file you drop on it. Choose its widgets in Settings.

Notifications & Stay connected

Your computer stays connected while Mnem0 runs. On Android, Mnem0 connects only while you use it and a push wakes it when something new arrives, which saves battery. Turn on Stay connected in Settings for instant arrivals at a small battery cost. On iPhone, items arrive while Mnem0 is open and when iOS lets it refresh in the background. In the browser, allow notifications in Settings.

Phones that close apps in the background

Some phones stop apps in the background to save battery, which can delay notifications. Allow Mnem0 to run:

• Settings → Apps → Mnem0 → Battery → choose Unrestricted (or No restrictions).
• Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO: also turn on Autostart for Mnem0 in Security or Settings → Apps.
• OPPO, realme, OnePlus, vivo: allow background activity or auto launch for Mnem0.
• Samsung: Settings → Battery → Background usage limits → Never sleeping apps → add Mnem0.
• Or turn on Stay connected in Mnem0's Settings.

Teams, rooms & invites

• New team: name it, then Manage → New invite code. Share the code; others choose Join with a code.
• New room: it gets a 6-digit code at once and ends after 24 hours. Choose Keep as a team to make it permanent.
• Mute a team or room from its header; you'll still see everything when you open it.
• Leave from Manage. Owners can delete the team instead.

Lost a device

On any signed-in device, open Devices (Settings → Devices), find the lost one and choose Remove. It's signed out immediately and can't fetch anything else. Its items stay in your account.

Updates

• Windows and Mac: Mnem0 checks for updates and installs them when you say so. Every update is signed.
• Android: a line on Home tells you when a new version is out; Settings → Download gets it, and it installs over the old one with your items kept.
• iPhone: reinstall the new .ipa with AltStore or SideStore, or use the web app, which is always current.
• Web: always the latest version.
