Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Mnem0 ("we", "us") provides apps and a service for sending text, links, photos and files between your devices and with other people. To contact us about privacy, email betalabz.org@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

Account: your email address and name, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google.
Devices: each device's name, type (for example Android or Windows), app version, and, if you allow notifications, a push address for that device.
Content: the items you send (text, links, photos, files) and the workspaces, teams and rooms you create or join, including who is a member.
Technical data: request times, errors and IP addresses in our server logs. Our logs never contain the content of your items.
Contact form: your name, email address, topic and message, and (if you report a problem) your device and app version. You don't need an account to write to us.

We don't use advertising or third-party tracking on our apps or this website.

3. Why we use it

To provide Mnem0: store your items and deliver them to your devices and to the members of your workspaces.
To keep accounts secure: sign-in, sessions per device, and limits that prevent abuse.
To show link previews: when you send a link, our server may fetch that page to show its title.
To fix problems and keep the service running.

We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or use your content to train AI models.

4. Who helps us run Mnem0

We use service providers that process data for us, only to run Mnem0: Render (servers), Supabase (database), Backblaze B2 (file storage), Google (sign-in), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and browser push services ("something new" notifications, which contain no item content), and Cloudflare (this website, and Turnstile, which checks the contact form isn't spam), Resend (emails us each contact-form message) and Cal.com (if you book a call, you use their booking page). We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Items you don't pin: deleted after 30 days. Pinned items: until you unpin or delete them.
Quick rooms: deleted, with their items, when they end (after 24 hours by default).
Deleted items and workspaces: removed from our systems; copies in backups expire on their own schedule.
Your account and devices: while your account exists. Removed devices and expired sessions are deleted over time.
Server logs: kept briefly for running and securing the service.
Contact-form messages: kept while we deal with them and for our records; ask us and we'll delete yours.

6. Your choices and rights

Delete any item, leave or delete workspaces, and remove devices, from the apps, any time.
Turn notifications off per device, or mute a team or room.
Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything in it: email betalabz.org@gmail.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, including to complain to a data protection authority.

7. Security

Connections are encrypted, sessions are per device and can be revoked at once, and access to every workspace is checked on every request. No system is perfectly secure; see Security & privacy for the details and for what our server can and cannot read.

8. Children

Mnem0 isn't meant for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their data.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. We choose providers that protect data appropriately.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and for important changes we'll tell you in the apps.
